Helping Hands, Helping Community
Genesis Corporation, a non-profit organization formed in January 2017, supports revitalization efforts in the Borough of Pitcairn. Genesis restores buildings of historical community significance with the intent of repurposing the building to attract young entrepreneurs and bring new life to the community.
The primary focus is to assist the Borough of Pitcairn with its efforts in revitalization of a small town community with small town values. Incorporated in 1894, historic Pitcairn is nestled in the greenery of the Turtle Creek watershed of Allegheny County. Home to 3,200 residents, strong community organizations and a nationally recognized Police Department, the foundations for revitalization exists, it is now time to rebuild and promote. With the assistance of Genesis Advisory Board, a group of highly successful business men and women with an affinity to Pitcairn, Genesis is confident that our chosen projects will provide the momentum for change.
